This full-day workshop is for anyone who wants to go further — combining multiple pieces of sea glass into a single, considered pendant design that's as individual as the glass itself. You'll spend the day making and fitting open bezel settings for between two and four pieces, then designing how they sit together — layered, linked, or arranged in a composition that's entirely your own. It's part silversmithing, part design — and the results are always striking. Bring your own collection of sea glass, beach pottery or found pieces, or choose from our hand-picked selection. The more varied your pieces in colour, shape and size, the more interesting the design possibilities. Who is this workshop for? Perfect for complete beginners and those with experience alike. If you've been collecting sea glass for years and always wanted to do something beautiful with it, this is a day for you. A good level of dexterity and close-up vision is helpful. Open to participants aged 16 and over; under-18s are welcome with an accompanying adult. What will you learn? With a full day to work in, you'll cover more ground and work with greater depth: Making multiple open bezel settings, each fitted to a specific piece of sea glass Soldering multiple components cleanly and accurately Designing and planning how your pieces sit together Linking, layering or combining settings into a single pendant composition Finishing and polishing across multiple elements Attaching findings and chain to complete your design The design element of this workshop makes it genuinely different — you're not just following a single set of steps, you're making considered choices about how your piece will look and wear. Your own sea glass, beach pottery or found pieces if you have them Reading glasses if you use them, and magnifying goggles if you have any Closed-toe shoes (essential in a workshop environment) Long hair tied back, and avoid loose or flowing sleeves
