About The Event

During this relaxed and informal day you will learn new skills to make your very own set of fabulous sterling silver stacking rings. The course covers a range of silversmithing techniques and is a fantastic introduction to working with silver. Making at least three rings, you will be experimenting with surface finishes and setting a semi-precious gemstone.

Techniques covered:

- How to saw and file silver

- How to solder

- How to set simple stones

- How to shape and size your rings

- How to polish your jewellery for a professional finish

We provide all the equipment you will need, including Sterling Silver to make the rings and a choice of gemstones for the finishing touch. As well as your completed masterpieces you'll also take away a course manual, giving you a solid foundation of skills.

A delicious high tea style lunch is included plus tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits throughout the day. We finish the day with a glass of Prosecco giving you time to admire your creations.

Please note: Closed shoes must be worn and long hair tied back. Please bring your reading glasses if you use them. Over 16s only, with accompanying adult.
