About the workshop

Make your own stunning sterling silver charms from scraps!  This workshop is such good fun, watch as the silver turn to liquid and bubbles into a rolling ball. Quench and hammer into the perfect nugget then add your chosen initials. Lastly you will solder on a jump ring and polish!

Who is it for?

Beginners onwards. Please note that a good level of dexterity and eyesight is required. Over 16s with accompanying adult.

What will I learn?

You'll start by melting the scrap silver into a nugget. Then you'll have a go at shaping it and stamping with your chosen initial. Finally you'll solder your jump rings, polish and attach to your chain.

What's included

We provide all the equipment and materials you will need including the sterling silver to make roughly one larger charm or two mini charms (we can be flexible so please don't worry!) plus a simple chain for your charms to go on. Tea, coffee and biscuits are also included in your taster session.

What shall I bring?

Reading glasses if you use them, it's very good to be able to see! Also to keep you safe it's best to wear closed toed shoes, tie long hair back and avoid loose flappy clothes :)
